Accuracy of Toric IOL Marking

With the increased use of Toric IOLs in cataract surgery in recent years, a method for accurate placement of the IOL in theatre will be described in detail. This method involves corneal marking of the exact astigmatic axis at the slit lamp directly prior to cataract surgery by the Orthoptist. This method will be assessed for accuracy by looking at post op results.
