Purpose: Clinical evaluation of the presbyopic treatment INTRACOR, a femtosecond intrastromal procedure which forms concentric rings within the stroma to produce a change in the central cornea following cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation.
Methods: In this single centre clinical study, 10 patients who have undergone cataract extraction and IOL implantation in the past had the non-dominant eye treated with the INTRACOR procedure (Technolas Perfect Vision). Measured outcomes include uncorrected and best corrected visual acuities, refraction, safety and efficacy and complications.
Results: Mean patient age, refraction, mean spherical refraction, pre-Intracor uncorrected near and distance visual acuity are recorded. At one month follow-up, parameters measured are uncorrected near and distance visual acuity, corrected near and distance visual acuity will be presented.

Conclusions: Early outcomes indicate the INTRACOR procedure is a safe and effective treatment solution for presbyopia in patients who have previously had cataract extraction and IOL lens implantation.
